Last Wednesday, EnergyCo Director of Regional Coordination, Darren Clarke, had the opportunity to present and join a panel of industry leaders at the Hunter Environmental Institute Energy Transition in the Hunter seminar. Darren shared insights on the Hunter’s critical role in the energy transition and the delivery of Renewable Energy Zones across NSW.
He also highlighted the region’s unique position to leverage existing infrastructure, adaptive re-use of power stations and mining sites, and access to a skilled workforce to support a successful energy transition in the Hunter.
