UGL achieves milestone at Port Hedland BESS project

UGL reached the energisation of the 66kV substation for the 35MW/35MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) they’re delivering in Port Hedland, WA, helping UGL client’s mining customers to use renewable power generation.

The milestone showcases the great work of UGL’s design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams as UGL move closer to completing the project for UGL client, APA Group.

“It has been a fantastic project, and the success has been driven by the amazing people involved,” Bradley de San Miguel, UGL Project Manager.
